Zoo
3.8.2012
The kids were out on winter break the other day so we decided to hit up the zoo with dual purposes.
1. Enjoy the fresh air and kill some time enjoying our membership pass.
2. Walk, walk, walk--in the attempt to evict Baby Abebe.
We accomplished the first...but not the second. Oh well. At least we got to enjoy some fun time in the sun before little guy gets here and makes it 3 against mommy. Eeek!

Circus, Circus
2.25.2012
As the kids have gotten older, it's been bittersweet. It's sad to watch them grow from your snugly little babies into little people (sometimes sassy) with their own opinions and personalities. However, one of the best things is as they get older we can take them places we wouldn't have bothered before. This year we were so excited (and a little nervous) to take the kids to the circus! I had no idea what to expect since it had been like 20+ years since I had been to the circus myself. The kids were great...especially Noah. The one I thought wouldn't be able to sit through the show was amazing. Munching popcorn and sipping on some juice, both were completely happy. It was a great afternoon and both kids were EXHAUSTED by the time we ventured home. All in all a wonderful adventure for our family and a great "first" for both kiddos.

Sunshiney Day
2.5.2012
We took advantage of the beautiful weather and ventured out to let the kids ride their bikes. Addison has been dying for a chance to try out her big girl bike that Santa gave her for Christmas. Unfortunately it's either been too cold or raining. Today we were blessed with mid 60's and sun. Addie had a blast circling the cul-de-sac while Noah was more content to not ride his tricycle and just chase Addison on his Mickey Car. Whatever makes you happy kid.

I can't believe that Honey let him get this close. Usually she has a better sense of preservation and avoids Noah. She isn't to sure about his "tough love" yet. But every once in a while...
What a cute moment.
